Rose Knox, passed away on November 24, 2023, at Sloan Kettering Hospital. Born on July 3, 1958, in Brooklyn,
Rose was a dedicated professional who devoted over thirty-seven years to the Veterinary industry. Her love for animals was evident in her work, and extended into her personal life, particularly towards her beloved Corgi, Zoey.
Rose was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Yankees, Jets, Golden State Warriors, NY Rangers, and Valley Cats with passion and enthusiasm. She also loved vacationing in Maine, where she enjoyed going to the beach. These trips were cherished times for Rose, enjoying the simple joy of being with those she loved most.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Ashley, and her husband Eric Schaible, along with their children Bodie and Collins Schaible. She was a doting grandmother, always ready with a hug or a word of encouragement. She is also survived by her sister Angela (Louie) Montalbano and brother Peter (Patty) Montanino, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dean Knox and their beloved corgi, Penny, her parents Charles & Rita (Colantuoni) Montanino, and her father and mother in law Charles and Jane (Grubie) Knox.
Rose Knox will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on, a comforting presence in the lives of those who loved her.
Services will be conducted at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Hudson, NY on Friday December 1st at 11am.
