Sandra F. Thompson passed peacefully at Berkshire Medical Center on January 28, 2015. She was born in Burlington Vermont to the late Henry and Florence Higgins; she was married to John E. Thompson. She was retired, and enjoyed spending her days playing games online, taking day trips to the Casino, any time with family and watching her grand dogs. She is survived by her husband John, her children; Tina Krien, Raymond Winters and his wife Karen, Darrin Winters and his wife Janis, Sandra Russell and her husband Bill, Susan Vincent and her husband Jeff, and Melanie Andrews and her husband Casey. Her grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua, Kevin, Kristy, Lisa, Rachel, Kayla, Billy, Aaron, Noah, Lucas, Dylan, Rahmer, Gabby, Arianna, as well as several great grand children. She also leaves behind siblings Marion Campbell and husband Donald, Allen Higgins and wife Sue, Nancy Krapf and husband Ken, Ronald Higgins, Sally Giblock and husband Bob and Sister in laws Dorothy and Marge Higgins, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandra also leaves behind her beloved dogs and grand dogs. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two brothers Henry (Bud) Higgins and Vernon Higgins. A memorial of her life will be held at French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home in Chatham NY on February 8 from 1-3pm.
