Stash Wojeski

February 21, 1967 — February 5, 2025

Stash Wojeski departed peacefully at St. Peters Hospice Inn on February 5, 2025. Raised in East Greenbush NY, graduated 1985 from Columbia High School. He began a life with his beloved wife Toni in Chatham. Together they built a beautiful home surrounded by the peaceful countryside and nature that Stash so loved. Stash had a very successful 25-year career at Aflac.

His love of family, home, country and friends was apparent to all who knew him. He had an infectious cheerful nature, intense love of politics, and civic duty. He was an avid beekeeper. Stash will also be remembered for his devotion as coach of the Chatham Reds Little League, member of the Lyons Club, devoted Cowboys fan and golfer. He lived life to the fullest and accomplished much in his time. Although Stash is gone among us, he lives in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving wife Antonette (Toni) Morrissey-Wojeski blessed with 18 years of marriage, beloved children, Ari Wojeski, Danielle Wojeski, Madelyn Peirce, and Troy Peirce, cherished grandchildren Celeste, Freya and Michael. He was loved by sisters Julie Hallenbeck, Suzanne Long (Brian), cherished by cousins and several nieces and nephews who all adored Uncle Stashy. Preceded in death by his father Stanley J. Wojeski, Sr. and survived by his mother Sally Wojeski.

In lieu of flowers we invite you to honor Stash's passion for community and youth sports with a contribution to the Wojeski Family Fund, Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region (CFGCR), 2 Tower Place, Albany, NY. Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 8th between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m. at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Ave. Chatham, NY 12037. A memorial services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Family and friends respectfully invited to attend the procession, burial and graveside service Monday, February 10th leaving from the funeral home at 10 a.m. to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3rd Ave. Ext., Rensselaer, NY.
