Stephen Paul Mesick passed away in his home on March 31, 2015. He was born in Catskill on April 2, 1966. He was a graduate of Chatham High School and played football for the Chatham Panthers. He was a man of many trades, including landscaping, painting and carpentry. He is survived by his girlfriend, Teddi Quick; mother,Doreen McIntosh and husband, James McIntosh; sister, Lisa Thomas and wife, Cynthia Craft; sister, Robin McIntosh; brother, Mark McIntosh and wife, Sandra McIntosh; son, Kyle Mesick and fiancé, Krystle Spateholts; daughter, Kristy Mesick and boyfriend, Basti Rebing; nephews, Ryan Thomas and Michael McIntosh; and two granddaughters, Haigen and Kollette Mesick. He was pre-deceased by his father, William Mesick; sister, Melissa Mesick; brother, Michael McIntosh and wife, Christina Walsh Mesick.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, car racing, demolition derby, music, and playing the drums. He was a big fan of Metallica and the NY Yankees. He was also a talented artist and enjoyed nature. He was a member of the Ghent Sportsman's Club and the Ghent VFW. He often participated in the Ghent Marching Band.
