Thomas J. Kelleher, age 60, died on April 16th in Sayre, Pennsylvania. Tom was a long time Chatham area resident. He was the son of the late Rosemary and Bernard Kelleher. Tom is survived by his brothers and sisters, Peter (Carol) Kelleher of Astoria, Oregon, Susanne (Skip) Ruggles of Raleigh, North Carolina, Dan (Marcella) Kelleher of Paxton, Massachusetts, Mary Lynn (Steve) Chick of Williamstown, Massachusetts, Laurie (John) Vairetta of Franklin, Tennessee, Bernard (Judy) Kelleher of Kinderhook Lake, New York and many nieces and nephews. He had a special place in his heart for his goddaughter Cristin Ruggles. Tom graduated Chatham High School and excelled at baseball. He attended New England Conservatory where he studied classical piano. He was noted for his musical talent. He was an Army veteran and worked as a painting contractor in Columbia County. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 4th at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl funeral home 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, N.Y. calling hours are from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M. A prayer service will be conducted by the Rev. Gary Gelfenbien at 3:30 followed by internment in the Cemetery of the Evergreens at Lebanon Springs, N.Y.
