Timothy Calyer

Timothy (Tim,TC) P. Calyer of Chatham Center passed away on June 24, 2026 at the Grand at Barnwell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. 

Predeceased by his mother , Pearl (Tator) Ingham, step-father Paul Ingham and father Theodore Calyer.

Tim attended Chatham Central School, and retired from the Town of Chatham highway department after 29 years of service. A past member of the Tri-Village Fire Company and the Hudson Valley Bass Anglers where he enjoyed tournament fishing with his son, Mike. Tim enjoyed detailing vehicles, whether it was his motorcycle, the bass boat before a tournament or his dump truck at work. He loved the outdoors, whether just walking at the conservancy or exploring new places. His soft heart also loved all animals, domestic and wild. He could also be found Saturday nights at Lebanon Valley.

Tim is survived by his wife , Holly (Renner),his son, Michael (Jennifer), his cherished grandchildren , Kennedy, Ava & Austin.Also survived by his brothers, Jim (Sandy), Gary (friend Maryann Brinkerhoff) and sister in law , Margaret (Peggy) Calyer. In addition to nieces and nephews . He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

In keeping with Tim’s wishes, no formal services will be observed. At the convenience of the family they will celebrate Tim’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Robert M. Donaghue, French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, NY.
