Velma M. Logan nee Gleason, age 90, passed away January 30, 2012. Born November 29, 1921 in Canaan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine Hinchey Gleason. Velma was educated at the Red Rock School. She was a home maker and life-long resident of Red Rock and Chatham. Velma is survived by sons Edgar Logan Jr. of Chatham, Harry R. Logan (Kathy) of Ravena, and daughter Ada A. Diehl (Keith) Of Climax, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. Velma was pre deceased by her parents and husband Edgar O. Logan. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4th from 4 to 6 pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham.
