Victoria F. Sweatt

Victoria F. Sweatt passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2020. Born February 26, 1976 in Kingston, NY she was the daughter Wesley Welling Sr. and Donna Marie Williams. Vicki married Michael Sweatt August 21, 1999 and after the birth of their first child moved to Columbia County. Vicki was a special ed teacher in the Pine Plains School District. Her passion was helping children and never giving up on them. She felt everyone deserved a chance. She loved poetry and is a published poet. She enjoyed the ocean and anything to do with the water. She loved nature, camping and just being outdoors and of course her family. She is survived by her husband Michael, son, Tristan, Devon and Mason, her parents, Wesley Welling Sr. and Donna Marie Williams, siblings, Wesley III, David, Ian, Faith and Amy. Calling hours will be at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, on Wednesday from 3 to 8pm.
