William J. Laraway, passed away suddenly at his home in Valatie, December 29,2009 surrounded by family. He is now in Gods hands with his mother, father and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Nancy Laraway, one son, William Laraway Jr of Colonie and daughter in law Danielle Laraway; three daughters, Connie Laraway, Jodi Laraway and fiancée Jason Pelas, Krystle Laraway and fiancée Terrence Brennan III; also survived by four granddaughters, Ashlee Laraway, Mikayla Laraway, Mackenzie Laraway and Brittany Brennan; two grandsons, Jason Pelas Jr. and Jaden Pelas; one sister, Dorothy Moore of Ghent; one brother, Charles Laraway of Valatie, and one close friend and son figure for many years, Craig T. Dymond. He was predeceased by his brothers; Arthur, Jackie, Richard, Clifford and Robert, and two sisters; Mary and Gloria. William was a father, grandfather, brother and uncle of many. He will be remembered for his big heart to help people. He will be missed deeply. Our special thanks to Valatie rescue and Niverville EMS for all there efforts in trying to save him.
