William Frederick Smith 65, of Chatham NY passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, February 6th at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center with family at his bedside. William is pre-deceased by his parents Patricia Hall and David Hall as well as his sister Patricia A. Hall. William is survived by his loving children Nicholas Smith and his wife Stacy, Derek Smith, Crystal Coolidge and her husband Steven Coolidge and Brooke Smith; his grandchildren whom he cherished and loved dearly Mara, Lindsay, Justin, Peyton, Ellie; and his ex-wife, Pamela with whom he maintained a close friendship with. William is also survived by his siblings Maryanne Anderson, Katherine McCarthy, David Hall Jr, and Norman Hall. Services will be held privately. Condolences may be conveyed at frenchblasl.com.
